According to the "Notice on Further Encouraging the Development of Enterprise Income Tax Policies for the Software Industry and the Integrated Circuit Industry" (Cai Shui [2012] No. 27), key software companies and IC design companies within the national planning layout, such as the year without tax exemption The enterprise income tax can be levied at a reduced rate of 10%. Beijing Tongfang Microelectronics Co., Ltd. and Shenzhen Guowei Electronics Co., Ltd. will apply to the competent tax authorities for implementation of relevant tax preferential policies as soon as possible.
In 2011-2012, Beijing Tongfang Microelectronics Co., Ltd. and Shenzhen Guowei Electronics Co., Ltd. were all identified as key integrated circuit design enterprises within the national planning layout, and have paid corporate income tax at a rate of 10%.
