With the increasing use of artificial intelligence, in 2016, the proportion of hardware in the artificial intelligence core industry scale accounted for the largest, reaching 53.5% of the total output value.

At present, artificial intelligence is the largest application in the robot and home appliance industry. At the same time, intelligent unmanned systems are rapidly developing under the influence of intelligent technology widely used in drones.

Nowadays, China has a data advantage in the development of AI, and the chip has become the only short board.

In July this year, the State Council issued the “New Generation Artificial Intelligence Development Plan”, in which “Key Breakthrough Key Energy-Efficient, Reconfigurable Brain Computing Chips” and other key common technologies are one of the key tasks of the development industry. At present, a relatively complete ecological pattern of artificial intelligence chips has been formed in the world. Although China has a certain foundation in algorithms, data resources, application scenarios, etc., key chip links are still missing.

The good news is that the local AI “core forces” such as the Cambrian are growing rapidly. Cambrian has become the world's first unicorn start-up company in the field of AI chips.

In 2017, the global semiconductor market recovered strongly. The market growth rate is expected to reach 20.6%, and the market size will reach 408.691 billion US dollars.

Innovation will lead the development of the three major industries of domestic integrated circuits.

1. Intelligent terminals and automotive electronics lead the development, and ecological construction is even higher;

2, the development of the manufacturing industry is further enhanced, advanced technology and memory manufacturing two-wheel drive;

3. The demand for industrial support stimulates the development of the packaging and testing industry and is deeply integrated with manufacturing companies.

As can be seen from the above figure, the current integrated circuit is the most important product in the global semiconductor market, accounting for more than 80% of the market share, and is also the fastest growing field in the global semiconductor market in 2017.

In 2017, the global memory market grew strongly, and the market growth is expected to reach 60.1%, a record high.
